Akua Tolen

Akua Tolen, the Executive Director of 4MYLIFERX and an experienced coaching professional with over 15 years of expertise, is dedicated to promoting recidivism reduction, mental health wellness, and substance abuse cessation. As a South Carolina Peer Support Specialist for drugs and alcohol, a board member of the South Carolina Clinical Mental Health Counselor Association (SCCMHCA), and a featured professional in their July 2024 publication.

Akua demonstrates a strong commitment to her field. She is also a member of the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) and has furthered her advocacy through education by pursuing a Masters of Arts Degree in Clinical Counseling at Columbia International University. Akua serves as a board member for the 2025 Professional Development Committee for SCCMHCA.
