Kemba Mohammed
Executive Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer
Diversity and inclusion are paramount priorities in our organization. Founder, Kemba Broadnax-Mohammed, oversees the Diversity & Inclusion component of each training module. She possesses extensive experience spanning over a decade in developing and implementing innovative methodologies for promoting comprehensive diversity in recovery, foster care, and government-sponsored agencies that serve and/or equip adolescents with mental health and behavioral disorders.
Kemba Broadnax-Mohammed infuses our programs with expert guidance, empathy, and compassion, ensuring that diversity and inclusion are accurately represented in our training modules. Disparity groups and justice-involved adolescents exhibit a higher susceptibility to emotional dysregulation and trauma responses. Consequently, low socioeconomic status and peer-to-peer interactions can negatively impact an individual's self-perception and personal development.
Kemba Broadnax-Mohammed meticulously reviews all modules to prevent any exclusion based on race, creed, sexual orientation, religion, lack of religion, culture, or self-identity. All modules are private and anonymous, thereby fostering a secure and intimate environment for the participants.
